OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
“May Money”

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST
a. The “May Money” contest will begin Thursday, May 1st, 2025, and will end Friday, May
30th, 2025.
b. To participate in the contest, KWMY-FM listeners will listen at 6:30am, 7:30am and 8:30am,
Monday through Friday to hear the “Artist of the Day”.
c. Sometime during the day, two songs from the “Artist of the Day” will be played back-to-
back. As soon as the second song begins, caller number 5 at 406-245-6900 will be identified
as the winner and receive a check for $100.
d. Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the station.
e. KWMY-FM is not responsible for technical glitches or problems resulting from dropped
cellular service, disrupted land-line telephone service, telephone company mechanical
failure, etc.
f. Contestants must provide a valid email address and telephone number to participate.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all KWMY-FM listeners who are at least 18 years of age as of Friday,
April 30 th , 2025 and who reside in the greater Billings area (KWMY-FM general listening
area). Employees of Desert Mountain Broadcasting LLC, affiliated advertising agencies,
participating sponsors/promotional partners, employees of other radio and televisions
stations in the metropolitan areas of the participating stations and members of their
immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Immediate family shall include
spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, and any other person
residing within the same household. Winner must be a legal U.S. resident who resides in
the general KWMY-FM listening area of Billings, Montana.
b. Previous KWMY-FM contest winners of any major prize (value of $999 or more), and/or
their immediate family members are ineligible to win.
3. PRIZES
a. Prizes are cash (check). Odds of winning depend on number of calls received.

b. To claim the prize, winners will be required to present a valid government issued picture
I.D. and social security card to a representative of KWMY-FM, as well as sign a standard
Desert Mountain Broadcasting LLC contest winner release form. At that time, a
representative of KWMY-FM will present the winner with information needed to claim
the prize.
c. Prize checks are generally available within 30 days of winning at the KWMY-FM studio at
2075 Central Avenue, Billings, Montana 59102, where winners must come to claim
check during normal business hours. By participating in this contest, the winner agrees
that the assume the risk of, and that Desert Mountain Broadcasting LLC shall not be
responsible for the safe delivery of prize. Any prize not claimed due to not filling out
appropriate paperwork, within forty-five (45) days of winning will be forfeited by the
winner. In this event, no alternate winner will be selected.
d. Contest prizes are not transferable and not exchangeable for any other prize.
e. Prize winners will receive 1099 IRS Tax form for the value of the prize as stated in these
contest rules.
f. Prizes are limited solely to those items explicitly set forth herein and shall not include
any and all other expenses, accessories, incidentals, or taxes that may arise out of the
winner’s receipt of this prize.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS
a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Participants agree that they will not make any claim against KWMY-FM, it’s licensee,
Desert Mountain Broadcasting LLC, or any of their affiliated corporations, their affiliated
advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, or the officers,
shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of any of these
companies (collectively, the “Released Parties”). Participants agree to release,
discharge, hold harmless, and indemnify the Released Parties from any and all liability
for any losses, claims, damages, demands, causes of action, costs or expenses, including
reasonable attorneys’ and medical fees, no matter how caused, arising out of, or
otherwise relating in any way to their participation in the contest, their acceptance of
any prize, or any breach or alleged breach by them of any affirmation, undertaking, or
obligation of participant.
b. Payments of all federal, state, and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner.
Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. Failure or refusal
to execute the release will result in winner forfeiting the prize. Photo identification and
social security number of Prize winner may also be required in order to collect the prize.
c. KWMY-FM may at any time during the promotion and in its absolute discretion,
terminate or suspend the competition without awarding the prize.
d. By participating in the contest, winners agree to have their name, voice, and likeness
used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest (for KWMY-FM
or any other participating station) without additional financial or other compensation,
and to sign a publicity release confirming such consent before delivery of the prize.
Winners also agree to provide Desert Mountain Broadcasting LLC with an interview,
which may be used in connection with the contest.

e. Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to delivery of the prize.
Pursuant to the liability release, winners will agree to hold Desert Mountain
Broadcasting LLC and their officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives
harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize
or participation in the contest.
f. The station reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the contest rules and dates
at any time for any reason. Material modifications shall be announced on air, when
practical. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these contest rules,
any modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by station management.
g. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at
the sole discretion of KWMY-FM.
h. KWMY-FM, My 105.9 is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing,
the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
i. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available
during regular business hours at the main studio of KWMY-FM at: 2075 Central Avenue,
Billings, Montana 59102.
